Mountain Brooch
My lovely Mountain Range Brooch is finely crafted from two layers of solid eco-friendly sterling silver. Inspired by my first desert camping trip, I tried to capture the beauty and starkness of that landscape.
It is modern, sleek and artistic, plus it is really fun to make. The two layers of recycled sterling silver are soldered with a gap in between to add a sense of depth to the landscape design. The hammer texture I applied to the top layer heightens this effect and catches the light nicely. It measures 1 1/2" X 1".
I can happily customize this piece with an etched name, date, or phrase.
